Utilizing shape memory materials (SMM) to develop next generation robotic technologies for highly articulated, strong, compact and light weight robotic hands.
Sarcomere Dynamics will use its proprietary shape memory actuator technology to revolutionize the robotics market.
Our actuators remove compromise from design considerations, enabling us to deliver a safe and compact robotic hand with strength, speed, dexterity and weight parameters that match the human hand.
We are developing what promises to be the next generation in robotics. This past year has been dedicated to building our core actuation technology from the ground up. Our actuator was originally designed for prosthetics; however, after further research, we determined that our technology has immediate application in the broader robotics actuator and gripper markets.
To demonstrate the potential of our shape memory actuators, we will solve one of the most challenging problem in robotics: a compact robotic hand that is safe, lightweight, strong, and dexterous all while performing highly functional and smooth natural human like movement.
Of course, with all the advantages our actuator technology brings they have broader application in robotics. If you would like to learn more, contact us.
Sarcomere Dynamics aims to use its proprietary actuator technology to revolutionize dexterous robotic hands and a variety of areas in the robotics market they have potential applications.
Our actuators remove compromise from our design considerations enabling us to deliver a compact robotic hand with strength, speed, dexterity and weight at near human levels of performance.
We are developing what promises to be the next generation in robotics. This past year has been dedicated to building our core actuation technology from the ground up. This actuator was originally designed for prosthetics but after researching the various markets we could bring our technology the greatest potential is in various areas of the robotics market: grippers, humanoid robots, teleoperated robots and more.
We are currently participating in the Entrepreneurship at UBC Venture Building Program. The program helps UBC founders execute on their ideas by intensely focusing on customer discovery, competitive analysis, problem validation and product-market fit.
There are over 100 ventures that are incubated through Entrepreneurship at UBC every year. With incubation phases ranging between 5 weeks to several years.
